ওয়েব ডেস্ক, বিপ্লবী সব্যসাচী পত্রিকা অনলাইন: ফের পশ্চিম মেদিনীপুরে এক মুক বধির নাবালিকাকে ধর্ষণের অভিযোগ উঠল এক যুবকের বিরুদ্ধে। ঘটনাটি ঘটেছে খড়্গপুরের খরিদার বড়বাত্তি এলাকায়। পুলিশ সূত্রের খবর, বছর পনেরোর এক নাবালিকাকে গত শনিবার খড়্গপুরস্থিত পাম্প হাউসে তুলে নিয়ে গিয়ে দফায় দফায় ধর্ষণ করে অভিযু্ক্ত। ধৃত যুবকের নাম এ. অরবিন্দ, খড়্গপুর ২০ নং ওয়ার্ডের ওল্ড সেটেলমেন্ট এলাকার বাসিন্দা।

স্থানীয় সূত্রের খবর, ওল্ড সেটেলমেন্ট এলাকায় একটি পাম্প হাউসে জোর করে বা কোনো কিছুর প্রলোভন দেখিয়ে ডেকে নিয়ে যাওয়া হয় নাবালিকাটিকে। এরপরে অভিযুক্ত ওই কন্যাকে দফায় দফায় ধর্ষণ করে বলে অভিযোগ। বিশেষ সূত্রের খবর মেয়েটি যে এলাকার বাসিন্দা ওই এলাকায় একটি অনুষ্ঠানের আয়োজন করা হয়। সকাল থেকেই তার প্রস্তুতি চলছিল। মেয়েটি নিখোঁজ থাকায় পরিবারের তরফে তার খোঁজ করা হয়নি।

পরিবার ও তার আত্মীয়স্বজনেরা ভেবেছিল মেয়েটি সেখানেই রয়েছে। কিন্তু সন্ধ্যায় ওই যুবক মেয়েটিকে বাড়ি ছাড়তে আসায় সন্দেহজনক ভাবে তাঁকে আটক করে প্রতিবেশীরা। অভিযুক্তকে তুলে দেওয়া হয় পুলিশের হাতে। ডাক্তারি পরীক্ষার জন্য প্রেমবাজারের হিজলী গ্রামীণ হাসপাতালে নিয়ে যাওয়া হয় নাবালিকাকে। পুলিশ ওই অভিযুক্তকে গ্রেফতার করার পর পুরো বিষয়টি তদন্ত করে দেখছে।
