ওয়েব ডেস্ক, বিপ্লবী সব্যসাচী পত্রিকা অনলাইন: খড়্গপুর লোকাল থানার অন্তর্গত শ্যামলপুরের কাছে এক ব্যবসায়ী যুবককে গুলি করে ২ লক্ষ টাকা নিয়ে চম্পট দিল দুষ্কৃতীরা। এবার লুঠের উদ্দেশ্যে চলল গুলি। প্রকাশ্যে এক ব্যবসায়ী যুবকের কাছ থেকে টাকা ছিনতাই করতে গিয়ে দুটি গুলি চালায় দুষ্কৃতীরা । গুলিবিদ্ধ অবস্থায় ওই যুবককে নিয়ে আসা হয় খড়্গপুর মহকুমা হাসপাতালে । পরে অবস্থার অবনতি হওয়ায় তাকে মেদিনীপুর মেডিক্যাল কলেজে স্থানান্তরিত করা হয় । জানা যায় গুলিবিদ্ধ ওই যুবকের নাম কাজী আজিজুল রহমান ।

ঘটনাটি ঘটেছে পশ্চিম মেদিনীপুরে খড়্গপুর গ্রামীণ থানার বেনাপুরের শ্যামলপুর এলাকায় । এই ঘটনায় কার্যত চাঞ্চল্য এবং আতঙ্ক ছড়িয়ে পড়ে গোটা এলাকা জুড়ে। গোটা ঘটনার তদন্তে নেমেছে খড়্গপুর গ্রামীণ থানার পুলিশ । স্থানীয় সূত্রের খবর শ্যামলপুর থেকে মিলিটারি রোড বাজারের রাইসমিলের উল্টোদিকে ফাঁকা রাস্তায় আজিজুর রহমান নামে ওই ব্যবসায়ী যুবককে লক্ষ্য করে গুলি চালায় দুষ্কৃতীরা । প্রথমে দুই দুষ্কৃতি একটি বাইকে করে এসে আজিজুলের গাড়ির পথ আটকায়। তারপর তাঁর ডান পায়ে গুলি করে দু লক্ষ টাকা নিয়ে চম্পট দেয় ।

According to local sources, the miscreants shot at the young businessman named Azizur Rahman on the empty road opposite the rice mill at Military Road Bazar from Shyamalpur. At first, two miscreants came on a bike and blocked Azizul’s car. He then shot him in the right leg and fled with two lakh rupees.
