ওয়েব ডেস্ক,বিপ্লবী সব্যসাচী পত্রিকা অনলাইন: লরির ধাক্কায় প্রাণ হারালো এক যুবক। রবিবার ঘটনাটি ঘটে পশ্চিম মেদিনীপুর জেলার শালবনীর গোদাপিয়াশাল এলাকায়। ওই যুবকের নাম রাজেশ রানা (25)। বাড়ি গুড়গুড়িপাল থানার লোধাসাই গ্রামে। স্থানীয়রা জানান, রবিবার শালবনী থেকে মেদিনীপুর আসার পথে গোদাপিয়াশাল এলাকায় পেছন থেকে একটি লরি ধাক্কা মারে। ছিটকে পড়লে তার পা দুটো লরির চাকায় পিষে যায়। বাইকটিও আগুনে ভস্মীভূত হয়। খবর পেয়ে ঘটনাস্থলে পৌঁছায় শালবনী থানার পুলিশ। মেদিনীপুর মেডিক্যাল কলেজ ও হাসপাতালে ভর্তি করে খবর দেওয়া হয় বাড়িতে।

অবস্থার অবনতি দেখে হাসপাতাল থেকে রেফার করে দেওয়া হয় বলে পরিবারের লোকজন জানিয়েছেন। মেদিনীপুর হাসপাতাল থেকে বের করে ওড়িশার কটক নিয়ে যাওয়ার পথে তার মৃত্যু হয়। পরিবার সূত্রে জানা গিয়েছে, কয়েকমাস হলো ওড়িশা থেকে ফিরে খড়্গপুরের রেশমি মেটালিক্সে কাজে যোগ দেয় রাজেশ। মাস পাঁচেক হলো একটি বাইকও কিনেছে। কিন্তু সেই বাইকে যাতায়াতে গেল প্রাণ। মৃত্যুর খবর এলাকায় পৌঁছাতে শোকের ছায়া নেমেছে এলাকায়। একমাত্র ছেলেকে হারিয়ে কান্নায় ভেঙে পড়েছেন মা ও বাবা। স্থানীয় পঞ্চায়েত সদস্য বাবাই মাঝি জানিয়েছেন, কটক নিয়ে যাওয়ার পথে ওই যুবকের মৃত্যু হয়েছে। অন্যদিকে পলাতক ঘাতক লরিটির খোঁজ চালাচ্ছে পুলিশ।

Web Desk, Biplabi Sabyasachi online paper: A young man was killed by a lorry. The incident took place on Sunday in the Godapiyashal area of Shalbani in the West Midnapore district. The young man’s name is Rajesh Rana (25). The house is in Lodhasai village of Gurguripal police station. Locals said a lorry was hit from behind in the Godapiyashal area on its way to Medinipur from Shalbani on Sunday. When he fell, his legs were crushed by the wheels of two lorries. As a result, the bike was also burnt in the fire. After that, the police of Shalbani police station reached the spot. After that, he was admitted to Medinipur Medical College and Hospital and informed at home.

The family members said that they were referred from the hospital after seeing the deteriorating condition. After that, he died on the way out of Medinipur Hospital to Cuttack in Orissa. According to family sources, Rajesh returned from Orissa a few months ago and joined Silk Metallics in Kharagpur. He also bought a bike in five months. But life went on that bike ride. Because of this news of the death has cast a shadow of mourning over the area. For this reason, the mother and father broke down in tears after losing their only son. Babai Majhi, a local panchayat member, said the young man died on the way to Cuttack. On the other hand, the police are searching for the fugitive killer lorry.
