ওয়েব ডেস্ক, বিপ্লবী সব্যসাচী পত্রিকা অনলাইন: ফোনে নিজেদের টাকায় রিচার্জ করে অনলাইন ক্লাস করার পরও ফি কেন দেব? এমনই দাবি তুলে ফি মুকুবের দাবিতে খড়্গপুরে পথ অবরোধ করল পড়ুয়ারা। বুধবার খড়্গপুর কলেজের দ্বিতীয় সেমেস্টারের ছাত্রছাত্রীরা খড়্গপুর কলেজ গেটের সম্মুখে রাস্তা অবরোধ করে বিক্ষোভ দেখায় ‘স্টুডেন্টস ইউনিটি’-র ব্যানারে। তাদের অভিযোগ, করোনা পরিস্থিতিতে ফর্ম ফিলাপ বাবদ বিশাল টাকা ছাত্র-ছাত্রীদের কাছ থেকে আদায় করা হচ্ছে।

এই পরিস্থিতিতে যখন মানুষের হাতে কাজ নেই, মানুষ তাদের রুজি-রুটির সংস্থান করতে পারছে না । তখন কলেজ গুলো যেভাবে ফি আদায় করছে তাতে ছাত্র-ছাত্রীরা অনেকেই শিক্ষার আঙিনা থেকে দূরে চলে যাচ্ছে। আন্দোলনরত ছাত্র-ছাত্রীরা দাবি তুলেছে, কলকাতা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের অন্তর্গত সমস্ত কলেজে ফি মুকুব করেছে তাহলে খড়্গপুর কলেজ পারবে না কেন? আন্দোলনকারী ছাত্র প্রদীপ দাস, ময়না নায়েক, কাঞ্চনী নায়েক বলেন, অনলাইনে ক্লাস করেছি নিজেরা টাকা দিয়ে রিচার্জ করে, তারপরও টাকা নেওয়া অনৈতিক।

The students blocked the road in Khargpur demanding fee waiver. On Wednesday, students of the second semester of Khargpur College blocked the road. In front of the gate of Khargpur College and demonstrated under the banner of ‘Students Unity’. They allege that huge amount of money is being collected from the students for filling up the form in Corona situation.
In this situation when there is no work in the hands of the people. People are not able to provide for their livelihood. The way the colleges are charging fees, many students are moving away from the field of education. The agitating students have demanded for waived their fees. They said, if all the colleges under Calcutta University have waived their fees, then why can’t Khargpur College? Protesting students Pradeep Das, Moyna Naik, Kanchani Naik said, “I have taken online classes by recharging myself with money, but still it is unethical to take money.”
