Locals protest against the use of alcohol in a school in West Midnapore

ঘটনাটি পশ্চিম মেদিনীপুর জেলার কেশপুর ব্লকের মাইপুর এলাকায়। বিক্ষোভকারীদের অভিযোগ, গত শনিবার বিদ্যালয় ছুটির পর ভেতরে মদ, মাংসের আসর বসিয়েছিলেন শিক্ষকরা। শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠানে এহেন কার্যকলাপে ক্ষোভ তাদের। শিক্ষকদের বিরুদ্ধেই অভিযোগ তুলছেন তারা।

ঘটনার প্রতিবাদ জানাতে সোমবার বিদ্যালয়ের সামনে বিক্ষোভ দেখান এলাকাবাসী থেকে শুরু করে অভিভাবকরা। যদিও অভিযোগ ভিত্তিহীন বলে জানান স্কুল কর্তৃপক্ষ। তবে ঘটনায় ব্যাপক চাঞ্চল্য ছড়িয়েছে এলাকায়।
