ওয়েব ডেস্ক, বিপ্লবী সব্যসাচী পত্রিকা অনলাইন: রাষ্ট্রপতির হাত থেকে পুরস্কার পেলেন মহিষাদলের ভূমিপুত্র তপন পানিগ্রাহী। পুরস্কার নেওয়ার মুহূর্তে কার্যত আবেগে ভাসল গোটা মহিষাদলের আমজনতা। শনিবার সন্ধ্যায় রাষ্ট্রপতি ভবনে ভারত সরকারের দ্রোণাচার্য পুরস্কার রাষ্ট্রপতি রামনাথ কোবিন্দের হাত থেকে গ্রহন করে মহিষাদলের সন্তান তপন পানিগ্রাহী। যাকে কেন্দ্র করে কার্যত বাঁধভাঙা উচ্ছ্বাস গোটা মহিষাদল তথা সারা জেলা জুড়ে। তপনবাবু একজন জাতীয় সাঁতারু কোচ। ছোটবেলা নিজের গ্রাম মহিষাদলের গড়কমলপুর থেকেই প্রথম সাঁতারের হাতে খড়ি হয়। এরপর মহিষাদল থেকে পাড়ি দেন মহারাষ্ট্রের পুণে শহরে।

সেখানে জাতীয় সাঁতার কোচ হিসেবে যোগদান করেন। দীর্ঘ ত্রিশ বছর কাজ করার পর অবসর গ্রহণ করেছেন তিনি। ওই সময় তার হাত ধরে বহু সাঁতারু জাতীয় ও আন্তর্জাতিক স্তরে সাফল্য পেয়েছেন। তপনবাবুও এর আগে একাধিক পুরস্কারে সম্মানিত হয়েছেন। তবে এবার একেবারে ভারত সরকারের দেওয়া দ্রোণাচার্য পুরস্কার পেলেন মহিষাদলের সন্তান তপন পানিগ্রাহী। শনিবার ১৩ নভেম্বর ২০২১ সন্ধ্যায় তিনি রাষ্ট্রপতি ভবন থেকে রাষ্ট্রপতি রামনাথ কোবিন্দের হাত থেকে পুরস্কার গ্রহণ করেন। পশ্চিমবঙ্গে তপনবাবু একাই এই পুরস্কার পেলেন। যাকে কেন্দ্র করে আনন্দের শেষ নেই মহিষাদল ও সারা রাজ্যের মানুষের।

এই খবর পেয়ে উৎসাহিত আপ্লুত হলেন মহিষাদলের ভূমিপুত্র বিধায়ক তিলক কুমার চক্রবর্তী, শুভেচ্ছা জানালেন পূর্ব মেদিনীপুর জেলার কাবাডি অ্যাসোসিয়েশনের প্রাপ্তন সম্পাদক হলদিয়া মহাকুমার রেফারি এসোসিয়েশনের অন্যতম নেতৃত্ব ত্রিদিব হাজরা। শুভেচ্ছা জানালেন রাজ্য কাবাডি অ্যাসোসিয়েশন সভাপতি ও ন্যাশনাল কার রেসিং চ্যাম্পিয়ন আজগর আলী (পল্টু)। শুভেচ্ছা জানালেন রাষ্ট্রপতি পুরস্কার প্রাপ্ত জাতীয় শিক্ষক, কবি সাহিত্যিক প্রাবন্ধিক প্রাক্তন প্রধান শিক্ষক ডঃ সুজন কুমার বালা। শুভেচ্ছা জানালেন চলচ্চিত্রে রাষ্ট্রপতি পুরস্কার প্রাপ্ত, ইন্টারন্যাশনাল লায়ন্স ক্লাব পূর্ব মেদিনীপুর জেলা গভর্নর শেখ মজাফফর প্রমূখ।

Web Desk, Biplabi Sabyasachi online paper: Tapan Panigrahi, Bhumiputra of Mahishadal, received the award from the President. At the moment of receiving the award, the general public of the entire Mahishadal was practically overwhelmed with emotion. Mahishadal’s son Tapan Panigrahi received the Dronacharya Award from the Government of India from President Ramnath Kobind at Rashtrapati Bhavan on Saturday evening. At the center of which the flood-breaking wave is practically spread all over the Mahishadal and the entire district. Tapanbabu is a national swimming coach. As a child, he first swam chalk from his village Mahishadal’s Garhkamalpur. He then migrated from Mahishadal to Pune in Maharashtra.
There he joined as a national swimming coach. He retired after working for thirty long years. During that time many swimmers got success at the national and international level by holding his hand. Tapan Babu also honored with multiple awards before. However, this time Tapan Panigrahi, the son of Mahishadal, got the Dronacharya award given by the Government of India. On the evening of Saturday 13 November 2021, he received the award from President Ramnath Kobind from Rashtrapati Bhavan. In West Bengal, Tapanbabu received this award alone. There is no end to the joy of Mahishadal and the people of the entire state.
Tilak Kumar Chakraborty, Bhumiputra MLA of Mahishadal, overwhelmed by the news. State Kabaddi Association President and National Car Racing Champion Azgar Ali (Paltu) greeted. Greetings given by Dr. Sujan Kumar Bala, President Award-winning National Teacher, Poet, and Literary Essay Former Headmaster. Sheikh Muzaffar, District Governor of International Lions Club East Midnapore, who received the President’s Award for the film, greeted the audience.
