ফলে ছোট প্রতিমা দিয়ে চলছে পুজো। শুক্রবারের বৃষ্টিতে সমস্যায় পড়েন পুজো উদ্দোক্তারা। স্বস্তি শনিবার বৃষ্টিপাত না হওয়ায়। মেদিনীপুর শহরের কলেজ স্কোয়ারে ব্যাপক ভিড় লক্ষ্য করা গেছে। ব্যঙ্গ চিত্রের থিমে জমজমাট। পশ্চিম মেদিনীপুর জেলা প্রেস ক্লাবের উদ্যোগে হয় আলোকচিত্র প্রদর্শনী ও প্রতিযোগিতা।
