ওয়েব ডেস্ক, বিপ্লবী সব্যসাচী পত্রিকা অনলাইন: দোকানে মাস্ক-স্যানিটাইজার চাওয়ার নাম করে ঢুকে ব্যাপক লুটপাট ও ডাকাতি করল ৪ সদস্যের ডাকাতের দল । ঘটনাটি ঘটেছে পশ্চিম মেদিনীপুর গ্রামীণ থানার অন্তর্গত বেনাপুর এলাকায় । গতকাল রাত্রে দশটা পনেরো নাগাদ স্থানীয় ব্যবসায়ী সুবল দাসের বাড়িতে দুই দুষ্কৃতী ঢুকে প্রথমে মাস্ক-স্যানিটাইজার চায় ।

সুবল দাসের ছেলে যখন মাস্ক ও স্যানিটাইজার দিতে যায় তখন জোর করে শাটার নামিয়ে দিয়ে ভিতরে ঢুকে পড়ে । পিছন থেকে আবার আরো ২ জন এসে ঢুকে পড়ে তাদের বাড়িতে। এরপরে বাড়ির ভিতরে ঢুকে মারধোর করে প্রায় সাত লক্ষ টাকার নগদ ও ১১ ভরি সোনা লুট করে নিয়ে যায় ডাকাতদল । ঘটনার জেরে সুবল দাস আর তার ছেলে আহত হয় ।

ব্যবসায়ী সুবল দাস কে বন্দুকের বাট দিয়ে মারধর করে ডাকাতদল পালানোর সময় বাড়িতে থাকা সিসিটিভির হার্ডডিস্ক তুলে নিয়ে চলে যায় । কাডিয়ে নেওয়া হয় মোবাইল যার মধ্যে একটি মোবাইল পাওয়া যায় বেনাপুর এর কাছে অন্য একটি মোবাইলের সন্ধান চালাচ্ছে তারা । গোটা ঘটনার তদন্তে নেমেছে খড়গপুর গ্রামীণ থানার পুলিশ যদিও এই ঘটনার জেরে কার্যত আতঙ্ক ছড়িয়েছে গোটা এলাকায় ।

Web Desk, Biplabi Sabyasachi online paper: A four-member gang of robbers entered the shop in the name of asking for a mask-sanitizer and carried out extensive looting and robbery. The incident took place in Benapur area under West Midnapore Rural Police Station. Two miscreants entered the house of local businessman Subal Das at around 10:15 last night and first wanted a mask-sanitizer.
When Subal Das’s son went to give him the mask and sanitizer, he forced down the shutter and went inside. Two more people came from behind and entered their house. The robbers then entered the house, beat him up, and looted about seven lakh rupees in cash and 11 ounces of gold. Subal Das and his son were injured in the incident.
The robbers beat up businessman Subal Das with the butt of a gun and took away the hard disk of the CCTV while he was at home. The mobile was confiscated and one of them was found. They are looking for another mobile near Benapur. The police of Kharagpur Gramin Thana have started an investigation into the whole incident, though due to this incident, panic has spread in the whole area.
