ওয়েব ডেস্ক, বিপ্লবী সব্যসাচী পত্রিকা অনলাইন: ফের অবৈধ সম্পর্কের জেরে খুন পশ্চিম মেদিনীপুরে। অভিযুক্তদের আটক করে জেরা শুরু করেছে পুলিশ। ঘটনাটি ঘটেছে পশ্চিম মেদিনীপুরের শালবনীতে। এক প্রতিবন্ধী যুবককে মাথা থেঁতলে খুন করা হয়েছে। সন্দেহ, প্রতিবেশী এক বধূর সাথে পুরনো সম্পর্কের কারণে তাঁকে খুন করা হয়ে থাকতে পারে। ওই বধূ ও তার স্বামীকে আটক করে জেরা করছে পুলিশ। ঘটনায় চাঞ্চল্য ছড়িয়েছে।

সোমবার সকালে শালবনীর শীর্ষা এলাকার একটি মাঠে স্থানীয় বাসিন্দা, আংশিক দৃষ্টিহীন এক যুবককে মাথা থেঁতলানো অবস্থায় পড়ে থাকতে দেখেন স্থানীয়রা। ওই যুবকের নাম সনাতন হেমরম (২৮), শালবনির শীর্ষা এলাকার বাসিন্দা। আংশিক দৃষ্টিহীন ছিল ওই যুবক ৷ খবর দেয় পুলিশকে। যুবক আগেও আক্রান্ত হয়েছিল বলে স্থানীয়দের দাবি। যুবকের আত্মীয় সূর্য হেমরম বলেন, “আগের রাত থেকে নিখোঁজ ছিল সে। সকালবেলা স্থানীয়দের মারফত জানতে পারি মাথা থেঁতলানো অবস্থায় তার দেহ পাওয়া গিয়েছে।

এলাকাতে অবৈধ সম্পর্কের জেরে এর আগেও ওর ওপর আক্রমণ হয়েছিল। প্রতিবেশী এক মহিলার সঙ্গে ওর সম্পর্ক ছিল বলে এলাকায় গুঞ্জন রয়েছে। আমাদের অনুমান সেই কারণেই এ ঘটনা ঘটে থাকতে পারে।” পুলিশ দেহটি উদ্ধার করে সোমবার দুপুরে মেদিনীপুর মেডিকেল কলেজ হাসপাতালে ময়নাতদন্তের জন্য পাঠিয়েছে। পুলিশ গ্রামে গিয়ে তদন্ত শুরু করেছে। সন্দেহ হওয়াতে পুরনো সম্পর্কের বধূ ও তাঁর স্বামীকে আটক করে জেরা শুরু করেছে।
